Originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Dr. Triggs discovered his passion for orthodontics early and has dedicated his career to helping patients build confident, healthy smiles. He values the partnership between doctor and patient and finds it especially rewarding to see that transformation unfold from start to finish.

For Dr. Triggs, orthodontics is about more than straight teeth. It is about building confidence, improving function, and creating lasting impact one patient at a time. He is passionate about designing treatment plans that are both efficient and stable, helping patients achieve results they can enjoy for life.
Dr. Triggs focuses on individualized care rooted in thoughtful diagnosis and long-term planning. Every smile is different, and treatment should reflect that. His approach emphasizes stability, facial balance, and clear expectations so patients feel informed and confident throughout the process.
Education & Experience
After earning a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa in 2011, he completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in 2015. Driven by a commitment to excellence in orthodontics, Dr. Triggs pursued advanced training at Roseman University College of Health Sciences, where he earned his Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics as well as an MBA in 2022.

Outside of the Office
Dr. Triggs is a devoted husband and proud father. When he is not transforming smiles, he enjoys golfing, relaxing by the pool, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.
