COVID-19 Updates for Patients of Premier Orthodontics

Update for Our Patients – April 1, 2021

We are currently open and seeing existing patients and new patients.

In addition to our normal infection control processes, we are taking additional steps to ensure the safety of our patients and employees.

What We Are Doing Differently:

We have implemented several new policies and procedures, which follow recommendations from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

  • You will notice that our team members will be wearing additional protective equipment, including disposable gowns and face shields.
  • Public touch points, such as door handles are cleaned multiple times throughout the day.  Every commonly-touched surface will be disinfected throughout the day.
  • Our team members have started to receive the SARS-CoV-2 vaccination

Because the CDC has recommended that everyone should practice social distancing, we are working to keep the number of individuals in our clinic to a minimum. To accomplish this we ask that:

  • New patients who would prefer to not come into the office can have a virtual consultation.  (Click here to learn more about our virtual consultations)
  • Patients who would rather not come into the offices can receive a virtual visit from home. (Click here to learn more about virtual visits)
  • We ask that only patients be in the office to avoid having too large of crowds in one area. We ask that family members wait in their vehicles if possible.
  • All patients and employees who are ill are being asked to stay home.
  • Any patients who would prefer to reschedule their routine appointments can call our scheduling coordinators at 480-361-4600 to reschedule at any time.

We assure you we will be attentive and vigilant so you can receive safe and comfortable orthodontic care in our clinics. In the event that any policies or procedures change, please refer back to this page.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call or text our office at 480-361-4600

Stay safe!

Update for Our Patients – March 20, 2020

To our dear patients and friends…

We recently received word that the governor of Arizona has mandated that all elective dental services be postponed for a minimum of 2 weeks. This means that until further notice, Premier Orthodontics won’t be able to see patients for regular orthodontic adjustments.

If you have a scheduled appointment during these next two weeks, your appointment unfortunately must be cancelled.

At this time we are asking patients not to call and reschedule their appointment. We are still unsure when we can resume normal operations and until we get more information, we will be unable to schedule future appointments.

At this time, we will not be able to see patients in our office, but we will be doing everything we can to make sure we take care of everyone until our normal operations resume.

Here are some of the ways we will continue to take care of our patients during this period:

  1. If you have any poking wires or other problems that are causing discomfort or require immediate attention our team members and doctors will be able to meet you at the office one on one to take care of anything urgent.
  2. Our phones team will still be answering calls during the hours of 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
  3. If you need to get in contact with us the best way is to text us at 480-361-4600 or send us a Facebook Message. We will be monitoring text messages and Facebook Messages throughout the day and will reply to these as quickly as possible.
  4. If you recently had your braces removed and are scheduled to receive a retainer, these retainers will be mailed to your house.
  5. If you are in need of more elastics, please feel free to text or send a message, and we will mail you the elastics in the mail.
  6. If you have questions or concerns about your progress or teeth, our team and our doctors are available to do virtual visits to check on progress through Facetime or video chat.
  7. We are still able to do virtual consultations for any new patients. To learn more about our virtual consultation please visit www.yourazbraces.com/virtual-consultation
  8. If we are unable to resume normal operations for a long period of time, we will try to have Invisalign aligners sent to patients or arrange for you to pick them up. If this is needed we will be in touch with our Invisalign patients with more details.

Please watch your email and our social media pages for more information about how Premier Orthodontics will be working to take care of our patients and for any status updates.

We know that this is a difficult time for all of us, and we pray for the safety of all our patients during this time.

With love,
Dr. Dustin, Dr. Dan, Dr. Tyler, and Dr. Hemali

Update for Our Patients – March 18, 2020

Just like you, we are closely monitoring new developments regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus). The health and safety of our patients and employees is of the utmost importance. We are committed to doing everything we can to maintain a safe and comfortable experience when you visit one of our offices at Premier Orthodontics.

Because the CDC has recommended that everyone should practice social distancing, we are working to keep the number of individuals in our clinic to a minimum. To accomplish this we ask that:

  • New patients who would prefer to not come into the office can have a virtual consultation and discuss their treatment through a video call with one of our doctors.  (Click here to learn more about our virtual consultations)
  • We ask that only patients be allowed back in the clinical areas to avoid having too large of crowds in one area. We ask that family members wait in their vehicles if possible.
  • Certain procedures that involve using a high speed handpiece that may introduce any aerosol into the air are being postponed until a later date.
  • Public touch points, such as door handles are cleaned multiple times throughout the day.  Every commonly-touched surface will be disinfected throughout the day.
  • All patients and employees who are ill are being asked to stay home.
